The Chief Medical Officer has reported increased levels of flu in children aged 5 to 14 in schools and in hospital patients during last week.
Those at risk group patients with diabetes, asthma , chronic respiratory, kidney, heart and liver disease must ensure that they are vaccinated against flu.
There is free vaccination available in some of our pharmacies, just call our pharmacist for advice.
If you do get flu remember rest, hot liquids and a painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen will help alleviate the symptoms and good hygiene will help to stop the spread of the virus.
Again if you need any advice just call our pharmacists .
